Legal aid is located in the center of Aarhus:

You will find us in the small building opposite the Riding House. Entrance from Vester Allé at the “Red Field” to FO-Aarhus – Retshjælpen is on the right hand side of FO-Aarhus.
There are several city buses that stop at Park Allé at Rådhuspladsen. We do not offer parking, so if you are coming by car, we must refer you to parking spaces in the surrounding streets and underground parking garages.

The telephone service is often busy, and not everyone gets through during opening hours. If you live in Aarhus and the surrounding area and have the opportunity to show up physically, we encourage you to do so.
Please note: When your telephone advisor refers you to meet in person for more in-depth advice, it is because your case needs to be examined in more detail, and the initial telephone assessment of your case may therefore change.

If you haven't booked an appointment, it might be a good idea to show up no later than 45 minutes before we close.
Book a meeting
It may be a good idea to book a meeting if you want personal advice and want to be sure that we have time to assess your case.
There is often a waiting time if you come without an appointment - and we cannot guarantee that everyone will speak with a counselor.
