If you would like to join a team of volunteer advisers who are passionate about providing high-quality advice, we would love to hear from you.

Legal aid has approx. 18 advisers attached. In addition, supervisors are assigned.

As an advisor, you are assigned a specific day of the week on one of our opening days. These weekdays will typically change every six months in connection with the start of a new semester.

The advisers sit together in pairs, and have a weekly shift of approx. 4 hours. As a new advisor, you will get to sit with a more experienced advisor. The counseling takes place in close consultation with supervisors and the day-to-day manager.

As an adviser, you will give advice in all our areas of business, apart from immigration law. This gives our advisers an opportunity to get to know a wide selection of case areas and gain practical experience with advice in a number of different case areas and complex case types. The practical experience is a very valuable contribution to your CV.

We expect the advice to be provided with high quality, which our supervisors help to ensure through close supervision of the advice. We aim to offer a good academic and practical contribution to study or working life in a safe environment. In addition, we offer a good working environment where we e.g. focuses on holding professionally relevant presentations and social events, where you as an advisor have the opportunity to network and create mutual relationships.

Aarhus Legal Aid encourages everyone regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, social background, sexual orientation, disability and religious or political viewpoint to apply.
