Did you know that
Aarhus Legal Aid now offers online legal advice
Aarhus Legal Aid has now made it even easier for you to get legal help. We offer online legal advice, so you can get answers to your questions and solutions to your legal challenges – directly from your computer, tablet or smartphone. Since we are still in the start-up phase, there will initially be restrictions on who can use this form of advice.

Aarhus Legal Aid is approved by the Danish Civil Service Board, which means that we meet the requirements to receive subsidies according to sections 323 and 324 of the Administration of Justice Act. The approval ensures that Aarhus Legal Aid can continue to offer free legal aid to everyone who needs it.

About us
As an independent institution, Legal Aid is independent of private and public interests. Legal Aid receives an annual operating grant from the Danish Civil Service Board.
Personal legal advice is provided by our approximately 20 advisors, who provide voluntary and unpaid assistance to legal aid users.
The advisors work in teams of two and are law students in the final stages of their education as well as newly graduated lawyers. The advice is given under the supervision of the managers or the three professional managers. The advisors have a fixed weekly shift.
